Neil: “Generally it was a very positive reception; some of the individual thanks to the Commissioner [Cressida Dick] to pass on to the officers involved was really good to hear because they are still very grateful for how quickly officers responded and resolved and prevented any further attacks.

“It was great to see Malcolm Turnbull showing his respects for the Australians who died but also sending the message out to not only all the Australians here, but all the Australians who still want to come here that we are open for business and there are no security issues and no concerns”
