Future's bright - but not orange!

The Globe Academy hustings were a glimpse of Southwark's future. The intelligent, motivated students asked questions ranging from housing, morality in politics, tackling poverty and generating opportunities for young people.

The recording of the hustings is available online via SE1 where you can hear the questions posed by local students and answers from all the candidates.

A straw poll at the end of the event was an overwhelming Labour win, with the Republican and Independent in second and third. The current Lib Dem MP trailed in fourth - which is almost as shocking as learning that there isn't even a Lib Dem candidate in the Academy's mock election.
