Southwark Park Primary School Trip to Parliament

Really nice to welcome Southwark Park Primary School to Parliament today.

They enjoyed a tour of Westminster and then asked me lots of questions in Westminster Hall (pictured). Questions covered university fees (one pupil was clearly planning ahead!), Government plans to force local schools to become academies, why I wanted to be an MP and my daily routines. It was lovely to see local children in Parliament – especially after I wrote to all the schools in the constituency in January inviting them over the river. Parliament has a fantastic education team and can even help cover some transport costs. If you or your school would like to visit – or would like me to drop in – please email me at Neil.Coyle.MP@parliament.uk
